Can a yeast infection stop your period from coming?

Question:
I usually have my period or at least some spotting by now at this time of the month.
I'm not too sure, but I think I just got over a yeast infection.
Could that have stopped my period or spotting?
If not what could be going on?

Answers:
No. A yeast infection cannot stop your period from coming. And don't apologize...no earnest question is dumb! :)
