What time of the month is a girl most and least fertile?

Question:

No, I'm not looking to use this as birth control or anything. I just wanna know when a girl is most fertile and least fertile. My periods don't occur on the regular 4-week cycle, but they always occur on a 3-week cycle. (in other words they always come every 3 weeks). So can anyone say when I'd be most and least fertile? Once again, this isn't my method of birth control, this is out of curiousity!!

most firtile the week (or 4 days for you, since your cycle is shorter) before your period, it's when the lining of your uterus is the thickest, and your body knows it will be safe for the egg and you ovulate. Least fertile would be the week (or 4 days or so) AFTER your period is over. it's when your body is trying to grow back the lining of your uterus. all it's effort is going into using the vitamins and nutrients that you consume to build up that lining. The last thing your body would do is ovulate the week after your period.

Keep in mind, even though you said you aren't using this as a method of birth control, your sex drive is dependent on your cycles. Most women are more ready for sex the same time they are most firtile. If you're sexually active, keep an eye on your dates, and log the urges you get. It might give you some insight. :)

There are a lot of websites that can calculate when you are ovulating.. used by many women planning on having a baby.. but from memory the lease fertile is just after your period and the most is in the middle of your cycle.

I am glad you don't want to use this as a form of birth control cause its the worst..
