Is it best to start taking the pill your first day of period or the sunday after your period started?

Question:

Answers:
There's nothing medically magical about Sunday. Just start within a week of your period starting and wait for a month before having sex without a backup form of birth control. Start the same day every month.
usually the sunday following the last day of your period... but check with the prescription or your doctor...
The only reason to start the pill during your period is so that your next one will fall when you next period would have come anyway. And there is less chance that you are pregnant. The Sunday start thing genarally means that your period will fall during the week, and not at the weekend. My pills start on a Saturday. Whenever you start, you are protected after seven days of taking the pill.
