If you think you have found a lump, the best thing to do is go see your OB-Gyn and have her check it and decide if you need to go for a mammogram.
A web site really can't give you an answer except to tell you how to feel for lumps, but even at that it is best to check. Also, what you're feeling may also be dependent on whether you are a teen just developing breasts or are older and past that stage.
go get screened as soon as possible. Dont play around with this...

oooooooooo i learned this in health class.feel around to see if there are lumps.it could be breast cancer, cysts, or fatty tumors...get them checked by your doctor and every month you should feel around for anything
if u find a lump u need to go see a doctor and let them examine u they will be able to determine if it is or not. any time u think its a lump or not ur better off getting it checked out just to be sure. good luck

getting a lump biopsied is the only way to be sure if you have cancer.
Normal breast tissue is squishy. Abnormal tissue will usually have the texture of a walnut, and may be more firm than the rest of the breast.
Having your breasts examined by a doctor would give you more information.
by going to the Dr. breasts get lumpy over time and from nursing and from cysts, so you can't judge it only by feeling.
There is no website you need to see a doctor to get it checked out. ALL BREAST lumps need to be checked by a doc.
if cancer in the breast runs in your family i would go have a mamogram done. you cannot mess around with that. the lump could be just a cyst. but to be sure, go to your doctor. please have a mamogram done, if it is cancer you can catch it in the early stages and survive. good luck.
Feel your breast. If you feel a lump, like a little marble, chances are you have it.
The best thing to do if you have found a lump is to visit your doctor and see what they think. If they agree that there is in fact a lump, and that it warrants further testing, they may schedule you for a mammogram or a breast MR.
It is much, much better to catch something sooner rather than later, so please don't delay.

If you found a lump please go get it checked immediately. Most lumps are beneign but I urge you to get a mammo and see your doctor. Its better to be safe than sorry. If you are a teen, then go ask your mother for help. If she agrees that there is something going on, go see a doctor, to confirm. Ask the doctor to show you thedifference between what is normal and what is cancer. Hope it isn't a lump!
