Is it normal?
Question:
and is there a way i can gain weight in a good way (preferably 10-15 pounds) without eating a lot of fatty junk food?
Answers:
You are still somewhat young which could be why you haven't had it yet, but being underweight can affect your ability to have your period. A good way to gain weight is to go on a very healthy diet that includes all the food groups in proper servings (read the Food Guide Pyramid), a lot of protein, and, surprisingly, working out. If you start a workout routine that involves cardio and weight lifting, you will build up muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. DO NOT try to gain weight by eating junk food- it is very unhealthy and can be dangerous. Eat right and exercise. Not only will you look and feel great, but you will also be leading a healthier lifestyle. But remember not to jump into any diet or workout that your body can't handle- you're not done developing yet, and you don't want to cause any added stress to your body. Consult a doctor, dietician, or personal trainer first. Good luck!
You are probally just too young to have your period.. some people don't get it until there 18! Wait longer and if you don't have it by the time you're 16 and at that time you're still extremely skinny then go to a doctor to get checked out.
Instead of eating a lot of junk food try eating more of the food you do eat.

I doubt your weight's the problem. You're probably just a late bloomer. I was, too. I got it when it I was 15.
About gaining weight... All you really have to do is eat a little bit more. Like, more healthy stuff. Apples and bananas.Ooh! Banana bread. Yum... I feel like Homer Simpson right now.
Being underweight can lead to no period. Chech with your Doc..
