Has anyone had this experience or have any insight?

Question:
I had my copper IUD removed about 3 months ago so we could start TTC. My cycle was always between 29-31 days and very regular. Now my cycle is close to 40 days (for the past 2 cycles). I thought I was preg so I took tests both times, both neg. Then I get a little spotting and have a short period. Anyone have any insight as to whats up?

Answers:
When I first got my Copper IUD, I had the same symptoms spotting, changes in my cycle. When I had mine removed, my body reacted very similar to when I first got it. All but the crazy pain of getting it in. Do you remember that? Ugh!

I'm not a doctor or anything, but I think it was just my body readjusting to not having it anymore. My symptoms stopped in a couple of months. If yours don't go to your doctor, even if is only for your peace of mind. Stress can play havoc with your cycles too.

Hoping it's nothing,
Amelia
Something is up with your TTC. Give your body a few more cycles to regulate itself. It's normal to have spotting, irregularity and strange periods when you switch you BC method.
