I am 10 days passed my missed period. I have taken 3 at-home pregnancy tests, which all came up negative...?
I have a doctor's appointment set up for next week. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? What are other reasons that could be attributed to a missed period?
Girls or doctors only please! (part two)?

There are many reasons you could be having these symptoms. You don't mention your age or whether your menstrual cycles are usually regular, so we'll brainstorm.
1. You're pregnant: Some women (a very few) do not ever produce enough HCG (pregnancy hormone) in their urine for a urine test to detect it.
2. You're pregnant: You may not have enough HCG in your urine for the test to detect it if you are not using your first-morning urine. This may be true if you are only 10 days past your missed period.
3. You're not pregnant. Have you lost or gained more than 10 pounds recently? This can affect your menstrual cycle.
4. You're not pregnant. Have you started an exercise program recently? This can affect your menstrual cycle.
5. You're not pregnant. Are you on hormonal birth control? Have you just started the birth control? Have you changed from brand-name to generic birth control or vice versa? Have you just stopped birth control? All of these can cause delayed periods.
6. You're not pregnant. Stress affects the menstrual cycle.
7. You're not pregnant. Have you experienced an illness recently? Especially a major one? Do you have an STD?
Your physician may discuss all of the above with you. I volunteer at a womens health center giving pregnancy tests and these are some of the questions I ask clients.
I have missed my period before...or was really late...I also took a home pregnancy test and the results came out negative.
I asked my doctor or looked on webmd. A cause of a late period can be a result of high stress levels. This can also make your period longer than usual.
Try to lower your stress levels...and get to a doctor. It may be absolutely nothing at all.
I enjoy have my extent for two weeks presently, and its gotten heavier. What is wrong?
according to webMD, your weight might be fluctuating, you might be experiencing stress, etc.
when i was younger, probably early high school days, i didn't have my period for months! just a little reassurance. i think you'll be fine.
