Is there anyway i can try to regulate my periods without birth control?
Question:
and i usually skip a month than have it again.
they last from 5-7 days when i do get them but i NEVER have gotten it on time. i always skip a month in between.
and i get really really bad cramps.
Answers:
try to make a consistent effort to be healthy- eat right, exercise regularly, and try to reduce your stress levels. maybe even take a multi-vitamin. try to limit your caffeine intake. get enough sleep!
if that doesn't work, visit your doctor. if you don't want to take birth control because of the health risks involved, your doctor could help you chose which offers the most benefit / least risk combination. if you don't want to take birth control, because you don't want to go to the doctor maybe try your pediatrician and see what they say. it might be worth just starting with your doctor if you have already dealt with 2 years of bad cramps.
Good luck!
you sound like me. i'm 20 and have had the world's WORST cramps since i was about 14. i went onto birth control last year but i wish i had gone on sooner. even if you're not sexually active yet bc can regulate periods, clear up skin, and make those cramps feel way less. you'll be glad you did it.
also vitamin E is supposed to help regulate so you can try that.
