Well for me I used the Depo Shot. It worked great with only one side effect, NO PERIODS! It was great. I now have my tubes tied, but it really worked for me. Do keep in mind, that everyones body is different. Side effects you may have, others may not and vice versa. I would recommend trying the shot. Another plus, you only have to take it every three months, so you wont have to remember it everyday. Good luck sweetie!
Try Yasmine(it's a pill). They meds they use in it are different the old school type of hormones, there for not having some of the nasty side effects.
Best for me was estrostep fe b/c it gradually steps you up in dosage throughout the month so I didn't get the headaches that I did on other pills!
I'd avoid the shot depo b/c everyone I know had spotting or gross discharge all the time!
There are a lot of great pills talk to your doc to find the best one!
And as for ortho evra that's the reason they are getting sued like crazy!
I also use the depo shot and love it. The only side effect I have is weight gain. It has been 100% effective for me.
