Cervical Mucus...does it have a scent?

Question:
I've had increased discharge, and so I've started researching CM. I've read several sites, but none of them ever mentioned CM having a scent.
Mine is milky-ish, and has a peculiar scent to it. It's not overly strong or anything though. Just slight.
I was curious, has this happened to anyone else?
Is there a reason for it?
Also, the sites I've read have said that milky CM and an increased amount of it is a sign of early pregnancy. I know every woman's body works differently, but is this actually a common sign?

Answers:
Mine is slightly vinegary - it's naturally acidic down there, and quite milky sometimes. I'm certainly not pregnant.
An icreased amount can also be a sign of ovulation.
Best sure way to tell if you are pregnant is with a pregnacy test. Discharge can be caused by many things from infection to ovulation.
It mostly depends on the stage you're at in your menstrual cycle. The amount, thickness, colour and sometimes smell can differ from week to week depending.
CM does have a scent not al peope will - it can alter by what type of foods you eat if you eat fatty food and stuff it can make it smell stronger . you usally get CM shortly after ovulation occurs
Normal cervical mucus does not have a scent.I have also experienced the same problem where i had thick cream whitish discharge with a scent. My doctor did all the tests and confirmed to me that it was an infection. I was treated and the problem was over.
So plz visit your doctor and explain all the signs and symptoms.
