Girly Questions - tampons?
Question:
Ok, the other question sorry, does anyone think that they have worse cramps using a tampon? I never had cramps at all but have had some since I started using tampons (not really bad or anything just kind of uncomfortable) . . . it might just because I'm getting older and have had my period for longer? Or is it possible it is from the tampon? Thanks for answering this is really embarrassing!
Answers:
Don't worry, you don't have to anything different than usual because you are swimming. Have fun! :)
Nope, you just have to change them in no more than six hours. Tampons could cause cramps because it's up in there, and it could be sensitive.
you cann swimm with a tampon and it can be that the tampon is to large for you or that your not use to them
there's nothing to be embarrassed about. wearing a tampon while swimming is fine. i've been using them for almost 25 years. you don't need to do anything differently with it while swimming.
yes, wearing a tampon can make cramps worse. so can getting older. have fun swimming.
Only change the tampon when you're done in the pool if it is time to change it. You can usually leave it in for awhile because the pool water does not touch it.
Tampons do not cause cramps. Cramps are the same whether you use tampons or not. Tampons are placed in the vagina. Cramps originate from your uterus from contracting and the tampon is not inside your uterus. Mine have gotten better over the years, but not because of the tampons, but because of hormonal changes. It is because as you grow older, your hormones change every decade (every ten years).
I speak from personal experience for all of this advice here.
