Should i take hormone replacement??

so a couple of months ago i went to the endocrinologist about my weight fluctuation (sometimes i would gain weight and loose alot or not even gain at all) and im very under-developed(if you know what i mean) and he suggested hormone replacement but lately ive been experiencing very weird mood swings like i can be happy and then mad in 30 seconds and im nowhere near pms-ing,currently. so should i consider hormone replacement? is it safe? please help! i also think my hormone imbalance is the cause of my horrible acne and all of this is greatly affecting mi self confidence
