Why do boobs hurt when ur on ur period?

Question:

Answers:
It's the hormome, progestorone, that causes your breasts to hurt. This hormone is made after you ovulate and is responsible for all the evil PMS symptoms.

If your breasts continue to hurt after you period, consult your doctor as that is not normal.
Cuz they swell up and stretch the skin, causing minute pain.

Hah, why the thumbs down, look at what Dookie Legs had to say - and others as well - the breasts slightly enlarge. So HAH!
ummm...hehehe...i dont know!
hormones. everything is hormones
idk u tell me why
just that time of month, ur skin is more sensitive also.
all to do with the hormones.its only natural and nothing to worry about... :)
hormones, plain and simple.
LMAO i didnt know that...
because of your hormones your boobs get a little bigger not by much though
Usually from swelling because of water retention in the body.
because when your on your periods your hormones can get a little funny and so most times ur boobs will hurt and u can also get cramps in places and have pther types of period pains. when ur boobs hurt its also a sign for u that they are growing yet doesnt mean the more they hurt the more they grown cos they can expand and reduce after wards but dw its a normal process of growing up

hope this helped xx
well somrtimes but ithink it's normal because it means that they r growing !
Symptoms of premenstrual breast tenderness may range from mild to severe. Symptoms typically peak just before each menstrual period and improve immediately after or during the menstrual period. Breast tissue may have dense, rough, "cobblestone" feel to the fingers -- usually more marked in the outer areas. There may also be an intermittent or persistent sense of breast fullness with dull, heavy pain, and tenderness.

During the menstrual cycle, estrogen production increases and peaks just prior to midcycle. This causes enlargement of the breast ducts. Premenstrually, progesterone peaks near the 21st day (in a 28-day cycle) and causes growth of the breast lobules (milk glands).
idk i dont even have mine n hey hurt =[ poor me lol
