Is this a healthy measurement?

Question:
I measured one inch under my belly button all around my hips, and the measurement is 36 inches. Is that healthy? I'm 5'9. Should I maybe try to lose some weight in that area?

Answers:
for health, ideally yes!

however, you have the stature that i believe many men would love, just as you are.
well i saw your other question asking if you were tall enough to model and sorry but that is way too big to model. models usually have 23 inch waists or smaller. and it probably will affect your health later in life because you can develop diabetes and high cholesterol.
it depends on how you look and feel. if you want to loose weight go for it. just make sure your doing it in a healthy way. if you happy with yourself screw everybody else.

and the person above me is a *****. stupd whore has no right to tell you your too "big". its all about how YOU feel about yourself.
its hard to tell real just on rough measurements. the first poster is a moron, just cause some models have 23 inch waists, doesnt make them the right size or even healthy. if youre concerned see your family doctor and if s/he deems you slightly overweight, set about becoming healthy, not skinny.
