I enjoy poly cystic ovaries and the symptoms include, excess immensity, acne and hairyness.?

Does anyone know of anyone else that has poly cystic ovaries and any positive stories of how they overcame their symptoms?

Answers:    My mother, sister and I adjectives have it. It also comes along next to dismetabolic syndrome and elevated testosterone levels (the elevated testosterone is what's cause the hair).

Our doc put us on Metformin, and it seemed to relieve a bit.

If you have tresses on your belly, DO NOT SHAVE it! Wax it. When you wax, it makes the spike less and lighter when it DOES grow wager on, as opposed to shaving, which make it thicker and darker.

As for the acne...I use Proactive. It seem to help a bit. Use the nice for OILY skin though. It helps more than the other formulations that Proactive have. (They have several formulations.)

If Proactive doesn't work, try to see a dermatologist. Some acne is cause by more than oily skin or germs. Could be clogged folicles, hormonal imbalance, etc. Each are treated differently next to different meds for each type of acne.

When it comes to the cargo (the women in my kinfolk ARE because of this!), try Alli. No, seriously! It's pricey, but it DOES work!

We've all be averaging anywhere from 2 lbs to 7 LOST ....PER WEEK taking it!

The side effects kind of suck (greasy farts, where on earth you THINK you only farted, but a great deal of grease comes out instead - and greasy poo - where you poo and see grease floaties).....but I'd steal the side effects over being a chunker ANY light of day! lol

Hope that helps! :)
I must enjoy that too...
