I'm on Estrostep birth control?


Question:
I'm sexually active with my boyfriend of 2 years and have been on "the pill" ever since.. We use condoms 90% of the time just to be safe , but in the back of my mind I always wonder if the pill is really protecting me. Is there anyone of knowing that it is actually effectively working? When me and my boyfriend are unprotected we usually just dotn worry about it because of the pill.. but how trustworthy is it?
