I started my period on July 5th felt like i ovulated on the 18 but am already starting again Why so soon?

My period on the 5th was only 2 days long. I thought that no matter when you ovulate your period always starts 14 AFTER you ovulate. I know every ones cycle is different and you cant always predict when you will ovulate by when you start but i thought when you ovulated predicted when your next cycle would start. im confused now?

You probably ovulated twice, it happens.

A similar thing happened with me. When I went to the doctor we discovered that it was due to a Thyroid problem. So, I suggest you go to the doctor to find your answer.

are you on any type of medication?go see your gyn.guy.it happens but still you should check it out.

did you have a normal cycle??sometimes the irregularity of menst. cycle depends on the individual well-being,stressful event,diet..etc
that is the reason there is a choice of contraceptives,talk to your Nurse and ask for
the one that fit you most and relax,Women cycle changes in their life time,thats normal.
