It is possible but it does not always work. It is also a major operation and it's expensive and it's not easy to recuperate from. A lot of it also depends on how long it's been since you've had the operation. Scar tissue might have formed which would make the operation even more complicated so make sure that this is something that you really want to do before you go though with it and remember that it may not work. So you may have to go through all of that trouble and pain and it not work not to mention the expense and insurance may or may not pay for it.
See an ob/gyn, it can and has been done.
See websites below to learn about tubal ligation reversal. Every case is different, so you will need to tlk to your own doctor. He/she will be able to give you a lot more info and discuss what is best for you. Good Luck in your treatment.
Yes it can be done and success depends on how the tubes were tied. Actually "tied" or "cut and cauterized". Your first stop should be to your ob/gyn doctor and if you don't have one, ask a few friends who they go to and if they are happy with the care they are receiving. Once you find one, make sure he/she takes your insurance. If you're paying for the procedure on your own, it can be expensive. If you have insurance, you'll most likely only have to pay your co-pay. Hope this helps!
Yes, it is possible. Talk to your doctor about it.
it is about $2000.00 but it is worth it if you want another baby! I thought about doing it myself. the only problem is that I was told if they cut your tubes you may not be able to do anything about it. so the Dr said I would just have to go into surgery and find out if mine are cut, just tied, or if he used the clips. My Dr. didn't document hoe he did it. I do know a lady that conceived after her tubes were untied so it is possible.
It depends on the process that was used to tie them. If they were burnt, then no.
It's possible, but it depends on what kind of procedure you had done to begin with. If your tubes were burned, no way. If your tubes were cut, then it's possible providing there's at least 4 inches left on each tube to work with. Then after the procedure is done there's about a 70% success rate of pregnancy within 2 years of having it done. Success rate is much less if you are 35 and older. You would need to consult with a doctor to determine if you are a candidate.
Your age would have something to do with you being a candidate and the success rate, as fertility goes down with age.
It's not cheap and considered an elective procedure, so insurance doesn't cover it. It's about $6,000-$8,000USD.
Good luck.
you need to go to the dr and ask about a reversal, i think typically it is reversible
