I am pregnant will this harm?
Question:
Answers:
it shouldn't...i had to take 2 z-packs with my son because i was so sick. there are a lot of misconceptions about pregnancy and prescriptions. I never thought you could take any type of pain killers, but I had my ovary and appendix removed and they gave me perkocet and lortabs. just make sure you tell the doc you are preggers b4 they prescribe you anything.
Not sure but call your doctor before you take anything else.
How pregnant are you? If you are less than 3 months, it is unlikely. If you are less than a month, then it is VERY unlikely.
I'm guessing you didn't know at the time that you were pregnant? I was in the same situation years ago and did the same thing, my daughter was just fine. Just make sure to mention it to your OB next time you visit.
It should be fine. As long as the prescribing doctor knows you're pregnant, they can prescribe you the safest meds for the baby. Had a UTI during my pregnancy and had to take antibiotics, my baby girl is fine.
zithromax? kindly give the chemical name.small one in drug cover......?
ok i found out...its azithromycin
In the animal studies, no evidence of harm to the fetus due to azithromycin was found. There are, however, no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Because animal reproduction studies are not always predictive of human response, azithromycin should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed.
maybe ur germs were resistant to all other antibiotics i reserve my opinion because ur doc knows ur condition better..
It should be used ONLY if needed due to the fact that it is passed along to every body secretion you have including breast milk. If pregnant, no matter what the trimester, I would avoid this unless you absolutely need it because otherwise the baby can develop a resistance to the drug or even an allergy. Also bacteria in the baby will be killed (as with any antibiotic).
