I have been on it for a few months now. I don't think it is any different from any other daily pill I have taken. I still struggle with intense depression before my period. However.my period is regular and I am not pregnant, so I suppose it works!
I'm on Yaz strictly for PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), and have been doing really well on it. It's my lifesaver. :)

I just switched to Yaz from Yasmin for my PMDD, so hopefully it will help. So far, I am not having any side effects like I did on Yasmin. when I was on Yasmin I felt nauseous for about the first 3 months and then was more moody than normal. My friend has also been on Yaz for months for PMDD, and she says it has really helped her symptoms and given her no side effects. It also has proven to be an effective contraceptive for her.
