Dryness and swollen feeling after sex??

Question:

ok well i had sex last night (unprotected)for the first time in months. but to get to the point after i had an orgasm i became dry (down there) but i continued to have sex. well yes it was kind of ruff and i was dry and it hurted. well today im still dry feeling and i feel kind of swollen down there. NO itching or burning, just dry and swollen feeling. what could be wrong? is it just because i was dry??also ive been using vaseline to try to stop feeling so dry but its not working.

You might have contracted a yeast infection or some other type of an infection to be experiencing such dryness. This might have been going on in your body BEFORE you had sex last night. Ask your gynecologist to recommend something for you to use over the counter or the doctor might tell you to come in to rule out a more serious kind of infection or irritation that might require a prescription medication.

Vaseline does not belong in your vagina

i dont see a problem with putting vaseoline down there. but all i can advise is to just wait it out. and keep doing what ur doing to feel better.

johnnyraven has a point, Vaseline does not belong in a vagina, there are so many fun things made these days for dryness, and a lot of them are in the grocery store :) just from personal experience stay away from the warming stuff, it feels ichy and icky.

First, STOP USING VASELINE - you may be creating the type of environment perfect for the growth of bacteria. Second, you got dry and irritated - simple as that. Don't worry, it happens to everyone. Sometimes when you have a marathon weekend but forget the lube - you can end up dry, swollen & irritated. Third - a little saliva could have solved the whole problem. Good luck.

after so long of having sex some females just get dry and the best thing to do is to stop having sex after u become dry cause it is real easy to rip something down there. sometimes vaseline helps but the next time u decide to do that again try baby oil and see how it works or ky. but u being swollen is just cause of u have dry sex it will go away soon. if u have anymore questions just answer back. thanks and have a good day .

OK honey how old are you ? No nothing is wrong with you sounds like he bet it up just a bit [good for you ] but the swelling will go down . Please do not use Vaseline any more. if you like the oil base product go to baby oil it is better for you and feels much nicer. If you don't mind the water based product go with k y jelly . I do not like the water base my self but you should try both o yes and honey I'm just a touch jealous that your still have sex that will give you that felling for days after the actual act of sex you go girl

vaselin down there is NO GOOD oil is better umm never heard of that but you should get checked by your doc to make sure everything is fine

It sounds like the friction got to you. Buy a bottle of lube to use when you have sex. You can also apply a small amount during the course of the day if you are feeling dry. Vaseline is not really the best thing to use because it is thick and will actually block off your natural lubrication producing glands.
