Anorexia discussion?

Question:
I have been going through a lot these past weeks, and I know that I have anorexia, and I really want to get better. I have recently noticed that one of my close friends is goign through the same things I went through, and she asked me to talk about it with her. I know I have to but I don't wan't to and I don't know what to say to her. I don't want her to go through this and I know she's doing it for attension, Help please!

Answers:
First thing you must calm down if you are calm your friend will be too. Now anorexia is a tough problem and even harder sometimes to break the habit, especially if she does it for attention. Even though you are afraid to talk about a certain thing that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be said think of what would happen if u didn't say anything in a very close future you might be too late for u and your friend u must talk to her about this problem face to face. You are very lucky because you have someone who can work on the same problem with you. Together you will each have each others backs. Also it is important to find real medical facts and processes on medical websites of how to safely solve this problem together. Now about your friends need for attention that is just silly anorexia is a really serious problem much like obesity. Like obesity you might want to scare her with some hard core facts about the consequences of anorexia and you should tell the truth about the way she is acting. To tell the truth is really the only way. I wish the best of luck and my prayers will be with you i hope you get through this and your friend because you deserve to get through this. :)
Leave her alone and let her deal with her problems on her own terms. It will be better for you and for her.
You know she's doing it for attention? How? Because you did it for attention? Just be honest with yourself and your friend.
just talk with her, be a friend. girl im not anorexic but im skinny and its not the cutest thing, maybe if you are model but other than that no.
hi,
try this, i really hope it helps and that u can over come this obstacle. God bless. http://www.remudaranch.com/general/anore...
My friend hadn't had anorexia but she noticed I was acting strangely and wanted to talk to me but I always avoided the subject and I got worse. It's good she is willing to talk to someone about this, so maybe you'll have real chances to help her.Girls usually trigger anorexia on other girls with touchy remarks, so you'll have to be very carefull about the way you express yourself, since she might be very sensitive and vulnerable at this point so she shouldn't missunderstand you.Maybe talking to her will also help you clear your mind concerning your disease.
Since you know what she's going through then you two just calmly discuess with each other on how you both are going to get better. These problems occour in many people around the world as you to are friends you should want each other to get better. I had the same problem (I was bulimic) and it was a hard and crucial recovery but i made it. You guys should have a talk and make the best effort to get better.
