When do you stop having periods?

Question:
I mean, what around what age do you stop getting periods?

Answers:
Normally it's when a person is in their fifties--there are times when it happens sooner--whether it be surgically or you go into post-menopause early. Menopause can last many years and once you've gone a full year without a period then you're not supposed to have anymore.
It varies between early 40's and 50's. Most women I have talked to about it say it happened in their 50's, but there are some that say it was in their 40's.
If varies with each woman. Usually you can ask your mother, aunts and grandmother to find out when they did and chances are you will probably do so around the same age.
If you smoke, there will be a better chance of stopping it sooner.
