I would like to hear female views on this subject as I am too embaressed to go out and buy a bra and do not wish to wear one either

Answers:
You should get a second opinion.

You should look at compress undershirts. This can be done by doing a Yahoo search.

If the shirt does not work, you should ask your wife, female relative or a nice platonic girlfriendbto assist you in buying a sport bra.
Take testosteroin
go to your doctor again and ask to see a specials
If you know your size, why not buy one online? Also an A-shirt may help you out, wear a slightly tighter one to 'hold you in.' Losing weight and exercise will help reduce them as well. Have you spoke to your dr about it? Good luck!
You know its really something you have to get used to. Dont worry about it. I mean i think you should consult a dr and see if you can get an operation. Its obviously embarassing for a guy to buy a bra or shop for it, but thats life. its hard i know, but have a family member go with you and pretend she is shopping for it. You can also help hide it by wearing oversized tshirts.
Why can surgery not be done? There is a form of liposuction men who have gynecomastia can undergo.as a matter of fact, I actually typed a report today on one. I had never heard of a man being recommended to get a bra, though.

If you are uncomfortable wearing a bra, try an ace bandage to bind your breasts (use safety pins to attach it, not the clips), just not too tight that you cannot breath. Practice with the bandage at home until you feel comfortable with how it feels before you wear it in public. Ace bandages come in different widths.

Good luck.
well from my health class teenagers boys from 12 to 16 can get temporary brest development, So wait awhile and see if it goes away.
