Answers:
If your periods are regular especially if you have pain on the first day it is a good sign that you are ovulating.
I t does not mean however that your womb is perfect.
If your tubes were damaged for example -even though you were producing your egg, even if the lining of the womb was healthy and ready to receive the fertilised egg if the tubes were blocked pregnancy could not occur.
Possible causes could be peritonitis-any cause
Pelvic inflammatory disease
STD
Chlamydia- There is obviously overlap with these causes
Chlamydia often will cause problems without either partner being aware.
If any of the above is cause for concern then see your doctor.
Otherwise-keep period record
eat healthily
No smoking or drinking(both of you)
folic acid 400 mcg/day
If your periods are regular than that is a good sign! It means your body is most likely working properly. Although, you can still have a period without ovulating. If you are looking to get pregnant soon, then try a consultation with an OB/GYN. They can do an exam and let you know if you are healthy enough to try to get pregnant.
Good luck!
If you are trying to get pregnant take pre-natal vitamins, they have alot of iron which is needed for the potential baby. A regular menstrual cycle is great but if and when you do get prego your OB/GYN will perform lots of tests to make sure you will not harm yourself or the baby. The less stess in your life the easier your pregnancy will be. Good luck!
You can assume anything. Assumptions are the results of all mess ups. I would go see a family planning physician and get professional advise. Girl you know what you want just see the doc when you are ready. Tell the doc what your expectations are and he can give you all the help you need.
The positive sides are that your body is doing the right thing, and you will be able to determine when you are most fertile if your periods are regular, that will normally be in the middle of your cycle.
But, see your Doctor just to put your mind at rest. always get an expert opinion when it comes to health worries.
