Answers:
there is a herbal way of treatment try Berberis
You need to see a specialist.
Last time I had a UTI my doctor told me she read a report where if you drink 1/2 cup of cranberry juice once a day it will ward of infections because 1) the PH level will prevent bacteria from growing and 2) it will cause the walls of the urinary tract to be too "slippery" for bacteria to adhere to.

Please see a specialist and good luck!

PS: It has worked for me so far!!
It sounds like the same infection that just never went away.Try soaking in a hot bath with nothing in the water for a few minutes .Drink cranberry juice and lots of water.Go back to your doctor and tell them whats going on.Your antibiotic may not have been strong enough.
As a guy---I have 2 suggesions:::1. The husband is not brushing his teeth... 2. Needs to wear protection. . You have an infection---he has an infection... Use The condom for a while till infections is finally done. and cleared up... He keeps reinfecting you
Need showers for the both of you before you do the deed...
Take plenty of water, 8 glasses at least in one day. Tell ur concerns to a doc.
Don't just wipe after sex - urinate as well. Also, drink cranberry juice - it supposedly helps control UTIs. Make sure you drink plenty of water (64 oz) everyday, too, to keep things flushed out.
Have you talked with your dr about the frequency? Perhaps he can send you to a specialist.
Oh - and you might need a different antibiotic. If it's a reinfection or an infection that just didn't go away, it's possible that you have a resistant bacterial strain. Have you had a urine culture done to identify the bacteria and do susceptibility testing on it? That should have been done first off! You probably have been treated with the wrong medicine.
cranberry juice and water, and lots of it for several days.. until you cant drink anymore. also, each time you go on antibiotics it will mess with your natural ph. so while on them eat one yogurt per day, this will help to balnce it out again... it could be that while you had the infections it went to your husband even tho he does not show any symptoms. my hubby and i did this a few times and we just had to stop for a bit. before and after sex we would shower together. kinda fun. use only hypoallergenic soap on both of you..i am prone to recurring bladder and yeast infections. we passed it back and forth a few times. but he didnt have problems just me... but he will help keep it all clean for my sake, and we have gotten used to no snuggle in bed after, we snuggle in shower...
You can be passing it back and forth with your partner(even if he doesnt have any side affects)
go to the to doc, get a prescription and use condoms for a while..
hate to be a meanie here, but if that doesnt work than one of you two are playing around and bringing it in.
