Please help me?

Question:
I just want to know why I haven't had a period since June 23,2007 but the doctor told me that I'm not pregnant and I'm off the birth cantrol pill can that have anything to do with my period or what does it mean please help me.

Answers:
You can miss a period if you suddenly have a lot of stress in your life or have added a large amount of exercise, among other things... did you just come off the pill? because if you did, then your body needs time to adjust to that change.
And I wanna know y i haven't had my period since July 4th and i know that i cant be pregnant bec i never had..u know and i dont take the pill
if you normally have a monthly period then i wldn't worry yet, esp. if you are sure you are not pregnant. you may just be skipping a month which happens sometimes when we don't ovulate. also, how old are you?
there are so many reasons women have irregular periods: pcos, thyroid or pituitary condition, anemia, low or excessive body weight. i wld wait 90 days and then go bakc to the doctor and request they do a work-up of hormones, like FSH, LH, TSH, prolactin, testosterone, estradiol.
in the meantime, try some fresh parsley or ginger tea 3 - 4 cups per day for a week. sometimes this can bring on a delayed period. it gets the blood moving.
you should go and get one of the home pregnancy test kits and take it yourself
You're a human being, not an automaton. A missed period or two doesnt mean anything. If you have just come off birth control it will take a while for your hormones to get back to normal, so your periods may be irregular. Or if you have been working hard or under stress you can skip a period. There is nothing to worry about.
could be stress
If you haven't had your period since June, have you lost a considerable amount of weight? That plays a factor on it, my friend lost 40lbs, and became very thin, she was in her late 20s, and had not gotten her period for several years, but she eventually got it in her mid 30s, and she too was on the pill.
Also your body has too adjust to going of the pill depending on how long you were on it, that is also another reason you have not gotten your period.
yes since you are now off the bc it may take some time for your cycle to regulate
