Honey.NO one should say anything wrong..and there are many stages of sadness. death even rape. Im sure alot of people think it is there fault but its not at all! you did not make it happen it just did. Make sure you tell someone you trust asap if you didn't already. and make sure you turn this guy in even if you talked to him in ways that made him think it was ok its NOT your fault as long as you said no. stop ect. then its not your fault and its rape. so good luck best wishes!

It is in no way your fault! I don't care how many excuses you can come up with, it was HIS fault. Don't be scared. They will probably just use a tool that opens up your vagina so they can take a swab to be tested. They probably will also insert two fingered gloves inside to feel around for any abnormalities. It sounds very scary, but it is literally over in just minutes.

It's good that you're taking responsibility for your physical health, but I really suggest that you take responsibility for your emotional health (if you're not already) by getting a counselor. If you can't afford one, they offer counseling services at women's clinics like Planned Parenthood.
Your gynecologist will probably just do a standard pelvic exam and pap test, as well as possibly taking a blood and urine sample to check for STDs and pregnancy. The pelvic exam will just be the doctor looking at your external genitalia to be sure everything's healthy and there are no outward symptoms of an infection. The pap test will be a bit uncomfortable: the doctor will insert a speculum into your vagina, which will open up the cavity so that the doctor can see straight to your cervix and take a swabbing of it to check for STDs and irregular cells. This is uncomfortable and awkward, but the pap test should only take about 30 seconds total.
You need to tell someone right away. You should have told when it happened because you could've gotten a rape kit, and the guy that did it to you could've gone to jail, but now that its too late for that you should still tell because it was not your fault! no matter where you were, how far you went, it doesnt matter when it comes to that... dont live with that on your conscience for the rest of your life. and dont wait til next week to say anything.
