Answers:
If you're under 20, I wouldn't worry.

If you're over 20, you should see a gynecologist to see if they can figure out what's going on. They're more likely to give you a correct answer than random people on Yahoo!
I can't say it's normal for younger girls to have irregular periods, but it certainly isn't uncommon. I've been told that you can't expect it to be completely regular until you've had it for a few years. You should talk to your mother about it, or go see a doctor if you really feel that seriously about it.

Edit:
Any of these things can cause a missed period:
-Change or stress
-Sudden loss of weight
-Stopping taking oral contraceptives
-A disruption of hormones
-Recent childbirth
-Some medicines (consult your physician about it)

The reason I said it isn't uncommon is because those first 2 are fairly common in girls going through puberty.
first of all rule out the fact that you are not pregnant, take a test if you are sexually active, there are so many key factors that play an important role in a womans cycle, have you ever been irregular before? it could be hormones, a condition called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, any type of STD's or any other infections, you should discuss this with yoour doctor they can run some tests and take care of the problem.
instead of asking a random group of idiots go ask your mom. you need to see a doctor this is never normal unless your pregnant
