GIRL TALK! i need help!?

Question:
i have a body problem which is my chest im only 17 and i dont know if im old enough to get breast reduction and have them lifted...i know your probably thinking "o my god a young wants that?" but yea i went through some tough times and i dont want to explain that personal story...im scared to tell my parents and i dont know what theyre going to say...o yea does military pay for those kind of surgeries?

Answers:
id recommend keeping them around for a little bit longer. you might find that you grow into them. i have no idea about military policies, but i cant imagine them springing for a surgury that isnt life saving. as for talking to your parents, its a good idea. they can be incredibly suportive when they want to be. if you dont want to come out and say it, try dropping hints at every possible moment. ;-D
ask a local plastic-surgery clinic thingy... just call them and like... ask them everything you need to know. this way, you can remain anonymous but get all the information you need :)
you could ask the military for the second question :S ... or maybe the surgery ppl will know :)
yes you are old enough to get a breast reduction. i know because one of my friends got one earlier this year...she was a triple D and her huge chest was interfearing with many things in her life. her chest caused her to have back problems and she cheerleads so its hard to carry that around with you all the time..but yes if your chest is really interrfearing with your life, or your health, i would talk to your parents about it, maybe its a good idea.
what size are you?
yeah i think you are old enough, and talk to your parents and tell them how horrible it is to have them that big and that its hard to live like that and maybe theyll understand
and call a clinic near you and ask them about it
A) Most doctors will not consider a breast reduction until you are 18. I've only heard physicians doing breast reductions on very young adults when it is severely affecting their health.
B) Breasts are made up of fat. Try to exercise more. Lifting weights (exercises for the pecs) will make you firmer. Do lots of reps at low wt.
C) Try to lose wt.
D) If everything fails, see your Family Doctor. Most insurance companies consider this a Cosmetic procedure and will not pay. I know a few people who had this surgery in their 20's and they both had horrible back pain (prior) One was a 42E!
(E) Your'e parents are more then likely going to tell you to wait until you are older.
i think you need to talk with you parents and let the know how you feel, than you can talk it from there.
well for those reasons i would say that you are a little young. you should make sure that you are not going to grow anymore and you should do it for health reasons like back pain and not because your american eagle top would look cuter if you had a smaller chest. Besides just be happy with your body and if anyone has a problem with it tell them. and if anyone harrasses you about your chest size then it sexual harrassment...you def. need to do something about that! Good luck and love you for you!
