How do i tell my mum?..?

Question:
how do i tell my mum i started my period?
im not the type of person to just go up to her and tell her, but i know she wants to know, i am quite capable of buying all the things without her but its the embarrasment of telling her, what do you thing i should say?

Answers:
What I did was when I was shopping with my mom I just went and put pads/tampons in the cart. Try that, and if she trys to talk about just say you don't wanna talk about it. Good luck!
She went through it too. Just say hey, do you have a pad and she will know.
move your lips up and down and speak duh
Open up a book or magazine that talks about it. This takes the pressure off you because you're using 3rd party.
Catch her when she's not doing anything, tell her you'd like to talk about something important, sit down, and talk with her. She'll be so proud of you, and really happy you chose to talk to her.
just say hey mom I'm on my monthly.
Tell her, she went through the same
process also, she will under stand better than anyone.
when i got mine i was really embarased. i went to where she was watching tv and my brother was there... so i went and wispered into her ear "i think i got my period" and she was like "ok" and she got me pads and stuff lol
There is nothing to be embarassed about because every woman gets one and you also have the option of not telling her, I promise she will figure it out on her own.
It's not like you've stumbled on to something that the rest of us doesn't know about. It happens to a lot of us--I'm getting ready to have it "happen" to me! lol
Peace.
Say mom I'm a lady now. Can we go shopping for lady items?
You shouldn't feel embarrased to tell your mom about this. Like was said, she did go through this herself. Just come straight out and tell her- mom, I've started getting my period. Just know there will be some discussion after (when it started, what products to use, etc.).

When I got mine, my mom cried (because I was 'becoming a woman'). Beyond that, she pampered and babied me for the first few days- it was great.
the way i told my mom, i was like, "mom..i got my period." just blurt it out because if you stop to think you might lose your nerve.
Just tell her that you need to talk to her about something very important and need her input.I'm sure she would be happy to hear that from you.
dont shy. tell your mom clearly. its duty of your mom to give you all information about this. she will guide you about this. so dont shy to tell her. every mother tell her daugheter these things. your mom will not angree at u. she is your best friend in this situation.
hi,
if ur really nervous to talk to ur mom about stuff like this, practice wat u want to say to her in ur room first. hope this helps! God bless!

p.s. ull fill alot better after u tell ur mom.
I was in exactly the same position as you when i was younger! What i did is when she went out for our weekly shop in the supermarket, asked her to get me some tampons. All she said as 'ok' and she just continued buying them so i guess she figured i had started!
i was really nervous to when i first started mine and i'm not really close to my mom but one day i just said to her that i need pads and then she just sorta knew but still i'm goin i'm middle school and i still get sorta nervous sayin that i need pads and if i'm really nervous i just ask i friend to bring me some pads until i get the nerves to go up to her!!! ~!~GOOD LUCK~!~
When i have trouble facing someone sometimes its easier to write little notes where they can find them.. just write something like hey mom im kinda embarrassed but i wanted u to know i got my period and i can take care of things myself... id rather not talk about it just thought u should know.
