Please take the time to answer my question, if you can.?

Question:
I am having some trouble with my left arm, (the under part of the lower arm, the palms up side). For 3 days now I have had a hard, painful knot in the area where you can see your veins really good. My veins became very dark blue, I have swelling in that area and swelling on my upper arm (above where they take blood from you). When I straighten my arm out it really hurts a lot, I feel like something is stuck in my vein, and the area is warm to the touch. Do you have any idea what this could be? I am very worried and I don't go to the doctor until Monday... Thank you...

Answers:
In the beginning I was thinking blood clot but when you said, "warm to the touch" that really convinced me. You may want to go see the doctor before monday, especially since it's in a vein. Blood clots are no fun but the sooner they are diagnosed and treatment begins the less likely they'll move or cause other problems. More than likely they'll want to do an ultrasound to see the extent of it if that's what it is, and then start you on clot busters/blood thinners. Monday is too long to wait! If it's a blood clot they'll need to start IV meds/injections immediately and then follow up with a pill (most common treatment from what I can tell, my own experience). I beg you- head to the ER right now. The longer you wait the more serious it could get. I made the mistake of waiting from Thursday to Monday and my clot was huge - it runs from my knee to my abdomen.
Hard to say for sure, but it sounds like you could have a small blood clot. It could be serious. Go to the Hospital if it gets any worse!
You should not wait til Monday, I suggest a visit to the ER. It could very well be a blood clot, and that needs to be taken care of immediately.

Please don't wait til Monday.
I don't know but did you explain the symptoms to your doctor when you made the appointment. If you did explain to your doctor he would have told you to go to the emergency room if he thought it was serious. If the pain is that bad I will go through the emergency room. Good Luck!
get off your computer and go to the ER if you havent gone yet dont waist your time here and GO! THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO ASK THOSE QUESTIONS!!!!
Three options-one somewhat serious, and the other two very serious-life-threatening.The first and is an infected cyst/lymph node. The second, lymph node cancer. The third is a blood clot, of which, if it breaks away and travels, could be life-threatening or fatal. In all cases, make sure you see a doctor, preferably before Monday, the sooner, the better. DO NOT SELF-TREAT.Do not even massage it, especially if it is a blood clot. Incidentally, the first could possibly become more serious, depending on what is causing the infection.
Go a doc.
go to a n e you have an infecstion
I answered your other question but I agree with everyone here...go to the ER.

Since others said something about that warm to the touch and blood clots,Id go,cause I know I read that.
If it is and breaks loose,it could hit your lungs or heart and be fatal.PLEASE GO! If you havent already.I wouldnt even call the DR..Id go to the ER and make them check it.

Let us know ok.
