My g/f mucus plug came out last night.. how ling till my daughter is born?
Question:
to baby bornage?
Answers:
Losing the mucous plug doesn't necessarily mean anything.
If it comes out too early, she can form a new one!
Now, if her water breaks, that's a whole 'nother story!
I don't understand. Sorry.
If you are referrring to the amniotic sac being broken, then that is one of the signs of being ready for delivery. Never heard of it being called a mucus plug. I am a mother of four children and my amniotic sac broke only once and two hours later, I had my son.
Thanks to whoever gave me a wrong answer. HaHa You might want to explain what you mean by mucus plus. Maybe it is a term used in The UK.
Call her doc. She should be in the hospital SOON.
shes in labor now!
thats f-cken disgusting.
that is a sign of immenant labor. call the doctor, they may want her to go to the hospital, if labor does not start on its own they may want to induce it. the plug is what keeps things sterile for baby. are you sure it was the plug?
just clear discharge: is the cervix thinning in preparation for labor and baby.
all labor times are different for everyone, so couldn't tell you how long labor will last
congradulations to you and your g/f!
7 hours, 23 minutes, 41 seconds from...now!
L & D nurse here and the answer is anywhere from 24 hours to two weeks. Your g/f is NOT in labor, it just means that the cervix is changing in preparation for labor. Also, it is not what keeps everything sterile for the baby. Definitely if her bag of water (amniotic fluid) breaks go to the hospital so she can be watched and the baby monitored. Congratulations.
