Wats the difference beetween pantyliners and pads?

Question:
wats the difference beetween pantyliners and pads? my mom got me both..i dont get it...

Answers:
Pantyliners are much thinner and they are for light days or everyday use even if you don't have your period (for discharge). Pads are much thicker and are more absorbent to help keep your undies clean DURING your period.
Pantyliner are used to catch any discharge or if you have a very light amount of spotting at the end of your period. Pads are used for your regular menstrual flow.
pantiliner are thin and they're made to catch accidents or when you are expecting your period or on the days when your period is reallllllllly light. Pads are used during your period to absorb moderate to heavy menstrual flow . like a tampon
pads are used for when your period is normal (more than just spotting) panty liners are for before you start just incase (or atleast that's what I use it for) or when you're spotting...
pantyliners can be used as extra precaution along with tampons.

pads are used in place of tampons
