If you make her feel bad by telling her the problem, she will probably change her mind. (I know this from experience-I'm a girl). Just tell her that its gonna be embarrasing to you if she wears the heels, and just ask her nicely...seem really sincere and worried, and she'll probably change her mind.

well my older sister by 4 yrs is about a head shorter then me.its ok not to be that tall, if that advice doesn't work help her pick out her shoes and then get higher heels then her
If she is 15 and already taller than you, you might as well get used to her being taller than you because she will most liekly grow till she is 19.
5'8 is average for a guy. 5'8 is not average for a 15 year old girl. If she wants to wear heels and make herself appear taller than she already is, she is going to be the one looking odd, not you. But if you really have a problem with it, just stay away from her at the party.
Or you could always tell her before hand that you wish that she didn't wear heels, but you're reasoning behind it is very selfish.
it's sad really that this is a question , if your that insecure about your height then wear some platforms and cut the heals off her shoes. Oh and eat the crusts on your bread it'll make you grow big and strong like superman!!
You should be happy that you are that tall.
Being a tall girl myself (5'11), I advise you to hold your head high and let her wear the heels. Honestly, most people do not notice...it'll only be a few inches.
My husband and I are the exact same height and I wear heels out.
By the way, my brother hit a growth spurt at 19 and is now 6'1, he was about 5'8 or 9 at your age.Most guys don't stop growing until about 21
let her be. she proud that she could be as tall as her brother let alone being "taller" in heels. she could make her own decisions if you feel VERY uncomfy, just talk to her about it. and come to some sort of agreement...
Ask her nicely is about all you can do. But be forewarned, little sisters like to tease big brothers.
She is probably done growing now too. And actually, you may not be. Many guys grow between 19 and 21.
Since she is as tall as you, let her heels be the "reason" for that.
And don't be so sensitive. Are you not going to date the tall, busty blonde because she is taller than you?
If it bothers you that badly, explain to her how you feel. I'm taller than my brother, and it never bothered him, but he wears Biker Boots for added height. If you are open and honest with her, she should respect your wishes, but if not, don't worry about it, she more than likely will probably complain that the heels are hurting her feet and take them off anyway. So, don't sweat it. Your a great height at 5' 8" and just remember, what's inside counts.
So what if she wears heels? I wear heels all the time and I'm 5'10 and have been since I was 13.
It's her decision on what to wear and if she wants to show off her height, per say, than let her. If you're really so concerned about what your sister wears, talk to her and tell her you don't think she should wear heels, etc,etc. Hope this helps but in my opinion, you should really just let her wear them.

All of your life you will meet women who will be taller than you are. Grow up and accept it. My boyfriend, Dino, is the same height I am, 5 feet 7 inches and he begs me to wear 3 inch heels!! You're not short, you're just a little man.
Why do you care if she's taller that you or appears taller than you? My younger sister is taller than me. Be happy with the height you are, be self-confident and not jealous and don't compare yourself to others. Or do you want her to feel bad about herself too?
