OK dear, you asked a lot of questions so I am going to try and cover them all. 1. you can still have a "period" if you are pregnant in the early months-it is rare but it does happen and its not a big period. There is a huge difference in that and spotting which could be a sign of a miscarriage. The period blood would be dark in color(kinda brownish) spotting would be bright red. 2. No, you don't have to wait to take a PT, but you get better, more accurate results if you do.
The most important advise I can give you is this: If you are pregnant then that's fine and take care of yourself. Go and buy a copy of a book titled "What to Expect When Your Expecting" It is a great book, full of valuable info. Now, if you are not then you need to stay that way. A new marriage is hard enough without the added stress of a baby. As the old song goes First comes Love, then comes Marriage, then the baby carriage. Get married and wait a year or so before adding kids to the mix. OK Best of Luck!
Postions donot matter. As long as the sperm is in your vaginal passage you can get pregnant.
Yes you have to wait intill your missed period. Its more acurrate that way. Dont take those see 5 days before your missed period. they are very missleading.

The one thing to do is either blood test or wait for your missed period.
you shouldnt bleed if you're pregnant not like a period anyway-if you did thered b something wrong with the pregnancy.
You can get a pregnancy test(cant remember the name) but it can tell if ur preggers before ur due period date(google early pregnancy test/pregnancy test days before period)

My first was an accident when I was 17 but we were so glad...she is 5 now and also has a (plannned)4yr old sister...I want another but havent persuDED him yet ;-(
stress can cause late periods too...iv found before the more iv thought about it the longer its took me to come on.
hope iv helpd
:-)

If you knew your dates itd be better...think ur better off going to see ur GP or family planning clinic for a test/blood test.
Because ur quite young it may just be ur hormones changing...iv many a times not had a period for 2months and thought i may be preggers took a test it been neg then come on after 2and half months, strange.
good luck anyway.
xx
You can get pregnant in any position although some positions, its believed aid the process, because they help keep the sperm within the vagina and increase the likelyhood of the sperm reaching and penetrating the cervix.
As for bleeding while pregnant ...yes some, but few, woman can have a small show (of blood) for the first few months of pregnancy...even fewer women bleed throughout. You don't need to wait now to do a pregnancy test some on the market can tell within hours whether your pregnant or not.
Clear blue is probably the best well known but try your chemist they'll recommend the best one for you..also some chemists still offer to do one for you for the same sort of charge...I think they cost about £10.
Make sure you do the test correctly and if it turns out positive go see you GP as soon as you can they can alleviate some of your worries for you too. Good luck...
No. You miss your period, then take the test. It's way more accurate.
I think it's great that your against abortion, especially because you chose to have sex.
It's a good thing your sure you want to have a child with this man, also, so it means you two are truely in love, or at least think you are. Just make sure that he's ready for a baby too, so you dont get left on your own.
Sexual position has nothing to do with it. You can get pregnant when the male semen enters your vagina. You aren't pregnant if you have a period. Please, please, make an appointment with a doctor who will explain it to your fully. It sounds like you know nothing about sex, yet you are having sex! What you don't know can hurt you. Call your local Public Health Clinlic and explain you need to learn about sex, they will help you.
It looks to me that you should try and have a life before you have a child as you are still a child youself. And try using contraception if possible
u sound just like me at that age we wernt trying but at the same time kinda wanted it to happen i had 3 tests that came up negative then the 4th was rite i think all i can say is dont get to anxious stress doesnt help and there is a chance u can bleed when pregnant but very unlikely just have fun trying and it will happen natrully i now have 3 kids and 1 on the way all boys
k...just an observation but your comment about "there nothing I can do" tells me your not sure your ready and the "HAHA" just confirms that. I really hope this is just a scare and you take every precaution after this till you both are sure. Yes you can still get a light period and be pregnant. My son is evidence of that. Wish you well!

Adoption is always an option.
just wait until your period is a few days late and take a PT. I had a baby at 18-turned out well for me, happily married 32 years, but it isn't without difficulty.
i tested with my second child before i was due on i think it was a week before and i was 6days pregnant when i did the test, if you need to know ASAP ask doctor to do blood test, scan, but at your age i very unlikely to be hormones but could still be hormones,, you can still have a period whilst pregnant but very rare, normally you get spotting which is commonly known as a plantation bleed..
Okay so it sounds like you just need some info on fertility. You can only get pregnant when you ovulate and for most women that have a 28 day cycle ovulation would occur on day 14. Start counting when you get your period. If your cycle is irregular you take the shortest cycle days like 24 and subtract 14 that would be day 10 for ovulation on short months and if you have 30 day cycles, subtract 14 and day 16 is your ovulatory day. So then every month if you are trying to not get pregnant then do not have sex on days 10-16 of your cycle. The time from when you ovulate until when you get your period is constant at 14 days. Now if you are wanting to know when you can test, all over the counter preg tests detect at different levels. The lower the level the sooner it will pick up. If you are using a FRED First response rapid detection you should be able to pick up a positive 2 days before you expect your period. There is a web site that lists the detection rates of preg tests, here is one for you. http://www.parenthood.com/articles.html?...

Now if you are pregnant you should not get a period but can get an implantation bleed but that is more like spotting when you wipe.
