1 month of vaginal bleeding!?

Question:
I was on depo for 7 years (I know. horrible) Anyways, I've been off now for about 9 months. In that time I've had 2 periods that were normal, and now I've had light to moderate vaginal bleeding for almost 1 month. It's enough that I need to wear a tampon. I'm thinking this is just a side effect of coming off of depo, but has anyone else had this happen? Would it be wise to make a doctor's appt?

Answers:
ABSOULUTELY- GET TO THE DR.- PLEASE! The Physician can give you the proper advice you need. Please take care of this issue ASAP- It is not healthy, either, to wear a tampon, as Toxic Shock Syndrome could occur with overuse of this type of product. "When in doubt, check it out!" Take care of urself and have a nice week-end.
Definitely see your doctor. He/she can give you something to make it stop.
its a side effect no need to worry. Its spotting. If it doesnt stop within another week it would be a wise desicion to call your doctor.

But other than that its pretty normal after coming off depo.
This falls in the category of "unusual bleeding". Please see a doctor as soon as possible.
