My boobs are sore - skipped my period on purpose w/pill?

Question: i skipped my sugar pills and started taking my next set up pills right away to skip my period.
My boobs are really sore now and seem bigger. I'm already on my 3rd week of my pills?
I read that the new pills that skip your period can do this...can this be the same thing? Anyone have this happen when they skip their period on purpose while on the pill?
