Help!I am on the mirena and there is a beating in my stomach...?

Question:
I have been on it for almost a year, before that I was on the Depo shot for four years. I have not had my period the whole time I have been on the birth control. My stomach feels like my heart is beating inside it, it is strong! I have no signs of being pregnant, no weight gain my stomach is the same. So what is it? Does anyone know what this is?

Answers:
This IUD is abit of an issue with me being that I was on it, and the same IUD you were on caused me to get surgery.

I had alot of discomfort and thought it was a simple bladder infection but after a few days I got worse. I had the same feelings you were getting that you are getting so I went to the doctor and found out that the IUD shifted up creating scar tissue and almost made me become infertile all together.

You need to go to the GYN to see if there was a shift before its to late. My body rejected it, and it sounds like yours is too on Mirena.
maybe you feel your blood pumping through your aorta which runs down the center of your body until your pelvis where it splits into two to supply blood to your legs. it is not the mirena that is beating, that is for sure
