I have been bleeding more heavily than usual for 6 days now. I had my period about two weeks ago and am currently on Yaz, a birth control pill. I have called my doctor and she scheduled an emergency appointment for testing. I have had sex with a new partner and my doctor says this is the cause for concern. Can anyone shed any light on this before my appointment so I don't go crazy? Thank you!!

if you've just started a new birth control pill its sadly quite normal for them to throw your periods out. if this is the case try not to worry too much.
You might have a fibroid tumor.
