Does the coil give you a rounded stomach?

The coil does not have this effect, so I assume it is due to something else. Have you gained weight?
but my sister had loads of problems with her coil including swollen stomach.
or it could be too many chocolate bars!!
when you say coil do you mean a copper IUD or Mirena? if you mean the later, you may be bloating and or putting on weight due to the hormones present in your birth control. I should think that after 6 months, any negative side effects would have vanished but since they obviously havn't I'd check with the doc to be sure there isn't a problem, especially if you have any abdominal pain.
if i was you i would get it checked out as i had one after my 1st child and when i wanted it out a nurse said it was put in wrong as the thread was hanging out and also it had been put in a wrong angle so it riped part of me just to be safe get some one to take a look hope this helps
