Hon, you will have this most Gawd awful smell from your chingching and itching that just won't stop, but don't scratch it can get very painful and infected.
Yeat is present in the vagina. However, when it becomes excessive, then that's when you have a yeast infection.
You will know if you have a yeast infection by seeing a discharge similiar to cottage cheese. You might also experrience itching and burning.
You may get a yeast infection from eating certain foods, wearing excessively tight clothes all the time, keeping on wet clothing or swimsuits for long periods of time or from stress.
It's easy to treat, get an over the counter med, however, if it is your first one, see your OB/GYN so that they can tell you for sure that it's yeast or it might be something else like bacterial vaginosis.
Ive had one.. its been a few years but I had one when I last took antibiotics. If your vagina has a really bad itch, a foul smell and white discharge that looks like cottage cheese, then most likely you have a yeast infection. If this is your first time going thru this, you need to see the GYN first, if u cant get there, try monistat..not the one day treatment.. its not effective.. go the whole 7 days.. its better..
you can get it from anything - e.g. didnt rinse out washing liquid completely out of your panties or touched yourself with germy fingers.
