Motrin or Pamprin works great. If you take some now, the cramping should be gone by tonight.
I find that taking painkillers with a hot drink, or better (but it will be bitter!), disolving the painkiller in the hot drink, makes them work faster.
take some pain killer , during the day put a heating pad that always works . i hope you feel better
either way, you'll have cramps, tell your friend cos she will understand, but eat things like bananas and drink loads of water/tea.
jst tell ya friend then she can like give you a hot water bottle or summin
I always get midol extra strength and it seems to work really well for me. I dont take it when the cramping starts tho, i take it right when i wake up before i even feel anything. Try it, i bet it will help.
I had to go onto birth control pills. It worked, it lessened my period from 8 days to 3 days, and cramp free.
Try hot baths, advil, massaging your stomach, sleep, exercise (my mum says it works for her,) etc. theres some great remedies on the net if you search them up, but advil is like a god!
Try some light exercise.
Try laying on your side and putting a hot water bottle, heating pad or a warm wash cloth on your stomach.
Also try taking Midol. They make Midol Teen for younger women with more severe cramps. or just regular midol works good too!!
if you have a basketball hoops, shoot baskets, it works for me so much! ride a bike, i guess moving you legs helps, it does for me and my sister, or just take a nap, it will be gone before you know it. but the best thing that works for me is excersizing!
try mydol or tylenol maximum strength
Either take midol, ibuprofen (brand name Motrin), or naproxen (more commonly known as Aleve). Until you have to get ready to go, I would lay down with a hot water bottle...and if you don't have one, fill a nalgene-type bottle with super hot water, wrap it in a towel and curl up in bed. While you're away, you might want to try a Thermacare heat patch made for menstrual relief...they are super thin and attach to the inside of your panties...give you up to 8 hours of heat and pain relief...amazing stuff! :) Try drinking some decaf tea or coffee.it helps me a lot. This won't help you now, but in the future, when you know you are about to start, take an ibuprofen or naproxen over eight hours about two days before you start, this will help to kill some of the cramps before they even start. Hope this helps and feel better sweetie!
