Is it possible to not have a period even if you ovulated?
Question:
Answers:
Well if you are sure you ovulated you should be pregnant but it may be to early to pick up a urine preg test at this point. Blood test is more sensitive, or you couold of actually released the egg a little late. I would wait 48 hours and have a blood test done. Usually people that do not get a cycle are those that do not ovulate. Its hard to know I would need more medical history for a better answer

hmmm...maybe you should call you OBG.
I do not know, i would ask your dr.
sound like a trip to the gyno is in order
periods may get delayed due to hormone imbalance
you could be underweight or anaemic. If this really has happened then you must see your G.P. He will tell you every thing and if you need to see a specialist..Lots of women ovulate without having a priod. But they are fir and well. Dont worry (to much ) until you see your doctor.
Yes, you can ovulate and not menstruate. Why, however, is a different matter. You shouldn't be concerned about a missed period with a negative pregnancy test until you've missed two periods in a row, and that's when a trip to the doctor is in order. Sometimes things like diet or hormones can throw your cycle off a bit and it can take a month or two for your body to catch up.
You could just be late. Even after having a period for several years, they can sometimes vary up to a week too early or a week late. If you still don't start in a week then go to your gyno. I 've had to have been put on what I call jump-start pills before, your gyno might want to do that if you don't start. But I wouldn't worry yet, give it a week.
The ovulation test could be wrong as they not always reliable just the same as pregnancy tests. This would mean you haven't actually ovulated and are not late yet.
Are you charting your bbt if so did you have a temperature rise.
I would test again in a few days and if you don't get your period go and see the doctor to see if there is a reason you are late.
