Not necessarily. You're period could come at any given time. Just be prepared. Sometimes i get mine when i get up and notice it and others i see some blood on my underwear.

Thats what happens to me too, before i go to bed I have a little spotting and then I get my period in the morning, but your period could come at any time so just be prepared.
Not necessarily. Sometimes I will start my period during the night and will notice it when I wake up, but other times, I'll start my period during the mid-day or later. To be safe, I'd suggest you wear a pad during the day.
