You are completely NORMAL. I was a "late bloomer". Everyone's body is different, and on different "schedules". Some girls hit puberty quicker than others. Please dont rush! Your body will begin changing when its your turn. Try not to be in a hurry to grow up too soon! Puberty can sometimes be awkward and pretty dang uncomfortable to deal with. Good luck little one and HAPPY BIRTHDAY (EARLY).

Why do you care? Maybe other people are lying! My mom didn't have puberty until she was 16, and she had 5 kids! Don't be in such a hurry. You are 12, God! Why do you want to grow up so quick!!
Some people don't get it untill 15, just give it some time. Every one gets it at different times. Be HAPPY you don't have it yet! :/
Don't worry sweetie.it will come sooner or later. I started at 13 and a half. Trust me...it's nothing special and you'll be wishing it never started! :)
i may be a guy but its all the same, some people start sooner than others, people start early yet others start later, its just the way it goes. there's no real reason for it.

i think it's different with each girl. not everyone goes through the same stages at the same time. you might be a late bloomer. if you are not scared to talk to your mom about personal issues like this, you can ask when she reached puberty because it will most likely be the same for you.
Ask your mom when she hit puberty. If she was your age, you probably will hit it soon.

You could be as late as 16 getting your period, so I guess you could be as late as 14 in starting puberty. Go see a gynecologist if you haven't gotten your period by the time you are 17--there may be something wrong with your hormones.
I have been 13 for 4 months I didn't start getting my "period" until about a week after turning 13 and it still isn't a full one yet it is still low blood and days aka. Starting up.
And now I have enough points to be on level 3 YAY! lol sorry.

Puberty starts at any age - you are not a late starter. I started at 10 by best friend & my cousin at 15.
Try not to judge yourself by what is happening to your mates bodies. It will all begin in its own time.

Everybody develops at different age, but if you really are 12 why are you concerned with that? Enjoy your childhood while it lasts.
my friend didn't hit puberty till she was 14, so just patient. and just cause you turning 13 you have a whole year of being 13 so just chill.
Because everyone is different! Be happy, having your period sucks! Not only that, girls who start puberty late, have less of a chance of getting some cancers! Don't worry it'll happen!

same thing happened to me a year ago (lol, im gonna turn 14 in two weeks) and i was like so upset that like all my friends were growing up before me, but you totallly don't need to worry. trust me you aren't the only one. you should be getting there and no need to be scared - you're perfectly normal. when you finally hit it you're gonna be wondering why you thought you were so worried. you're fine =)

My mom was 14. I was 15. My oldest got her first period on the day of her 13th birthday (and she said very sarcastically, "Thank you very friggin' MUCH for the birthday present, Mother Nature.") My second daughter was 13 1/2.

well my name is dr.phillis and i would like you to know that being an over grown baby that hasnt hit puberty yet is good sometimes. sure you cant have sex yet but thats not too bad is it? im sorry for your problems and hope that u have a good time peeing out blood.

No need to worry. Anywhere between 10-16 is totally normal. I was on the early end of that scale and hated it so you should consider yourself lucky.
they say if you dont have it by 17 to see a docter. only 30% average get it by the time they are 13. most other peopple at your school are probably lying.
