ino its normal to bleed but now its like my period am i having my period now i shouldnt for another week or so. and is it ok to wear a tampon for this type of bleeding even if its not my period?

You could have gotten your period early if it is heavy bleeding, because bleeding from having sex isn't heavy or consistant. You should go see your doctor just to make sure everything is ok. You might not want to wear a tampon because it might hurt if you ruptured something, wear a pad instead.

You shouldnt be bleeding that much, odds are you just got your period early. If it is indeed bleeding from the sex you shouldnt wear a tampon because its from lacerations in your vaginal canaland the friction created by insterting and removing a tampon will not allow the wound time to heal.

If you are having to ask questions like this, I would forgo the sex until I became more knowlegable about my body. Use a pad, and I recommend you also use birth control each and every time you have sex so you aren't on here asking "do you think I am pregnant?"

I'd say try to make sure this really isn't your period- are you having the usual symptoms like cramps and water retention? I've heard that sometimes a woman's hymen can hemorrhage during her first sexual experience such that she bleeds too much and needs to see a doctors. It's unsual, but it does happen. So if it really isn't your period, get to a doctor soon.

yeah i guess its okay to wear a little tampon and if it goes on for 5 days then you'll know for sure its your period and it will be fine, but if its only for a day then its just still the hymen

Bleeding from first or second time sex should only be due to the tearing of the hymen which is at the entrance of the vagina. If you describe the bleeding as 'like your period', then that's probably what it is. Sex (and other things) can sometimes initiate the hormonal changes that bring on your period but if you are worried, do go and see a doctor to set your mind at rest. Until the remains of the hymen heals, like any other wound, you should be gentle with it. A pad might be better than a tampon this time around.

You're ok I think. Sometimes I am not scheduled to have my period for a few more days to a week but occasional when I have sex it triggers it, it brings it on early and this is normal. You will be ok to wear a tampon but if the bleeding persists for more than a week I would get checked out just to be sure. Good luck.
