Sometimes after having rough sex, I get painful cramps that sometimes last all day, should I be worried?

My fiance and I have rough sex at times, where he thrusts deep inside me somewhat hard, it is very pleasurable during the activity, but afterwards sometimes I have painful cramping, nothing like menstral cramps, just tender sorness type cramping, and it does not happen all the time and we have sex two to three times a day.

Rough sex can bruise your cervix, even cause it to bleed a little. It is normal, and as long as you enjoy it, its not a problem. Take advil before you have sex and it will help with the pain. If you change the angle a bit, the thrusting won't be quite so deep. Also, make sure you are getting your annual pelvic exams.

This can be normal but I would say usually not!

You should go to your doctor and have them do do a pelvic exam. Just to make sure nothing is wrong.

I would be careful, I've heard it somewhere that this can cause cancer in the uterus. Anyway, it is not healthy, especially if you feel pain.
