Why is my period so different after having my first baby?
Question:
Answers:
Your body is going to take a while to get back to normal. It's quite common for women's periods to become erratic after childbirth. I wouldn't worry too much at the moment, but ask your doctor if you're still worried in a couple of months.
Oh and congratulations by the way
Firstly, your body is most likely still trying to get itself "regulated". Secondly, you will find that your periods will indeed change after having a baby. Before having my son 8 years ago, my periods brought on very painful cramping. After having him (via emergency c/section), my periods lessened and the cramping wasn't too severe anymore. After having my daughter 5 years ago (another emergency section), I began having problematic periods again. *sigh*... LOL.
Things should eventually taper down and get back to "normal".
