Periods-irregular?


Question:
period late - due 7th july, my cycles are irregular btween 31 and even as late as 34 on rare occasions,started having sharp stabbing pains through pelvic area last week still continueing this week,have blood test tomorrow at gp surg,negative pregnancy test yesterday,any ideas please,thanks

Just cause the test said negitive, does not mean you are not pregnate. You could have a tubular pregnacy, it would not show up on the test until it attached to the uterus. You also may want to check for fibroid tumors in your stomach. They sound worse then they are. Basically they are masses that take a lot of blood and can be painful at times. This could also be the reason for the irregular periods. I would wait and see what your doctor says. They are the professionals and will do plenty of test.
